The RISM-Switzerland database holds a catalogue of 38427 musical manuscripts and 23112 printed scores to be found in 55 musical institutions in Switzerland, both public and private, including archives, libraries, convents and private collections.
The 61776 titles processed contain up to 100 fields per bibliographic record and are catalogued according to the RISM A/II series of data entry directives. The database was published on the internet thanks to the financial support of the Swiss Academy of Human and Social Sciences and the Swiss National Science Foudation (SNFS).
